FACT: Women perform 66% of the world’s work, produce 50% of the food, earn 10% of the income and own 1% of the property
-

Kicking women’s rights in the teeth probably is not a good idea considering 50% of voters are women. Just sayin’. ~ Steve

Who’s using birth control? Oh, right, almost every single woman in America.
The only difference is that the religious women are shamed for using birth control — same for sex. Most people have sex, the only difference is that religious people feel shamed when having sex.
We need to change how we view sex as a society. Not as something that is shameful and dirty, but something that is beautiful and natural (as long as it’s consensual and safe, of course!).
What a great study

When I got untethered from the comfort of religion, it wasn’t a loss of faith for me, it was a discovery of self, I had faith that I’m capable enough to handle any situation. There’s peace in understanding that I have only one life, here and now, and I’m responsible.

Slut” is how we vilify a woman for exercising her right to say “yes”. “Friendzone” is how we vilify a woman for exercising her right to say “no”.

If they can get their message out loud and clear enough, maybe they can induce those women who don’t believe first trimester abortion is murder at all to feel guilty. Their claims of “post abortion trauma” are vindicated if they can put pictures of bloody fetuses in front of women on their way into abortion clinics, force those women to watch ultrasounds as doctors describe the body parts of the fetus, and require the doctor to inform the woman that she is about to end a human life (an actual requirement in my state). Anti-abortion activists aren’t stupid. They know that in order for their claim that abortion ruin women’s lives to be true, they have to make it ruin women’s lives. And that, quite simply, is what they are busily trying to do.
